Nebraska Aviation Maintenance Seminar Celebrating 106 Years Of Powered Flight In 2009 |
|
SEMINAR HISTORY The Nebraska Aircraft Mechanics Seminar was first held in Lincoln, Nebraska June 3 -5, 1971. The Nebraska Department of Aeronautics and Aviation Industry in cooperation with the FAA, sponsored the first seminar. The three-day program featured presentations from Beechcraft, Piper, Aero Commander, Continental Motors and the FAA. This seminar was the beginning of a long tradition that has grown into the outstanding program we have today and has been held annually every year since 1971, with the exception of 1997. In 1998 the name was changed to the Nebraska Aviation Maintenance Seminar and was held in conjunction with the Nebraska Aviation Symposium. Throughout it's thirty plus year history, this seminar has been the single largest event that draws together aviation mechanics from every corner of Nebraska. Today the Nebraska Aircraft Maintenance Seminar is a two-day event, providing Inspection Authorization renewal along with numerous training and networking opportunities for all Aviation Maintenance Professionals. |
